Efficient “1+1” Growing Line Solution

In wind tower manufacturing, aligning two massive cylindrical sections (cans) is the most time-consuming bottleneck. Bota’s hydraulic fit-up rotators revolutionize this process by allowing precise 3D spatial adjustment of the cans without relying heavily on overhead cranes. By adjusting the roller height and spacing hydraulically, operators can align the cylinder edges quickly and accurately. This creates a seamless “Growing Line” workflow, significantly reducing idle time and boosting the daily output of finished tower sections.

PRECISION ROTATION

Active Anti-Drift & Deformation Control

Welding long circumferential seams on thin-walled wind towers requires absolute stability. Bota production lines are equipped with advanced anti-drift rotators that detect and correct the axial movement (spiral motion) of the workpiece in real-time. This ensures the weld seam stays perfectly centered under the SAW (Submerged Arc Welding) head. Additionally, our specialized roller designs distribute pressure evenly to prevent thin-wall deformation, ensuring the structural integrity and X-ray quality of every weld.
