Overview
Bota Hydraulic Fit-Up Rotators are the game-changer for assembling multi-section vessels like wind towers, tanks, and pipes. Traditionally, aligning two heavy cylinders for tack welding requires dangerous manual intervention and hours of precise crane maneuvering. Our system eliminates this bottleneck. By incorporating hydraulic cylinders into the roller bed, the operator can independently lift, lower, or shift the workpiece in 3D space. This allows for the precise correction of misalignment (Hi-Lo) and gap width between sections. The result is perfect concentricity achieved in minutes, not hours, turning the laborious “fit-up” phase into a fast, safe, and streamlined operation.

3D HYDRAULIC ADJUSTMENT
Effortless Correction of Edge Misalignment
Achieving a perfect butt joint is critical for weld quality. Bota Fit-Up Rotators feature independent hydraulic height adjustment on each roller group. This allows operators to fine-tune the vertical position and horizontal alignment of the vessel section, effectively eliminating edge offsets (“Hi-Lo”) and ensuring ideal concentricity.

CRANE-FREE EFFICIENCY
Unlocking the “Growing Line” Potential
By transferring the fine-tuning process from the overhead crane to the rotator itself, you free up your lifting equipment for other tasks. This capability is the cornerstone of the modern “Growing Line” production method, enabling continuous, rapid assembly of tower sections. It significantly reduces idle time and safety risks associated with suspending heavy loads during alignment.
